Calcium Lactate Gluconate + Calcium Carbonate + Vitamin D3
Prevention and treatment of calcium and vitamin D deficiency Calcium and vitamin D supplements are used as an adjunct to specific therapies to prevent and treat osteoporosis in patients at risk of calcium and vitamin D deficiency.
Adequate calcium in the blood is very important for various bodily functions, so that our internal biochemistry cannot tolerate a lack of calcium even in a short period of time. Clinical evidence suggests that calcium can be used to prevent and treat osteoporosis and related fractures. Vitamin D is also important for bone health because it helps absorb calcium from the gastrointestinal tract. In addition, it also stimulates bone formation. Clinical studies have also shown that calcium and vitamin D have a synergistic effect on bone growth, osteoporosis and prevention of fractures.

Hypercalcemia and hyperparathyroidism, hypercalciuria and kidney stones, hypersensitivity to the ingredients of this preparation, severe renal failure
Oral calcium carbonate can irritate the gastrointestinal tract. It can also cause constipation. Hypercalcemia rarely occurs when calcium is taken alone, but it may occur when patients with chronic renal failure take large doses of calcium. Allergic reactions, irregular heartbeats, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, dry mouth and lethargy, and skin rashes may also occur.
This can be used during pregnancy to prevent calcium and vitamin D deficiency. However, from the third trimester of pregnancy, the daily intake should not exceed 1500 mg of calcium and 1000 international units of vitamin D. The preparation can be use during lactation.
When hypercalcemia occurs, discontinuation of the drug is usually sufficient to normalize serum calcium levels. Patients with sarcoidosis, kidney or heart disease, and those receiving cardiac glycoside therapy should use calcium with caution. Patients with a history of stone formation should also be advised to increase their fluid intake.
