Indications

Usually used as an emollient to relieve dry skin conditions.

Pharmacology

White Soft Paraffin and Liquid Paraffin are emollients with occlusive properties and are suitable for topical use. The active ingredient has no obvious systemic absorption, but it has obvious penetrating effect on the stratum corneum.

Dosage & Administration

As needed, apply a thin layer of ointment to the affected area of ​​the skin in the direction of hair growth. Repeat as needed. Ideally, use the product three to four times a day or at least twice a day. For adults whose body is mostly affected, you can use up to 500 grams per week. For topical administration only.

Contraindications

Contraindicated to those patients with a history of sensitivity reactions to any of its components.

Side Effects

Prolong use may cause folliculitis, should this occur, use of the product should be discontinued.

Pregnancy & Lactation

The safety of White Soft Paraffin and Liquid Paraffin during pregnancy and lactation has not been established, but use during this periods is not considered to constitute a hazard.

Precautions & Warnings

This topical agent should be applied in the direction of hair growth to reduce the incidence of folliculitis.
