Indication:

Gutfix® 8 is indicated for the treatment of Irritable Bowel Syndrome with Constipation (IBS-C) and Functional constipation of children. Lubiprostone 8 mcg is the first and only USFDA approved Chloride channel activator for the management of IBS-C. It works locally in the intestine to help activating the chloride channels in the intestine and facilitates body’s natural function by increasing fluid secretion and transit in the intestine. It also protects and repair intestinal barrier, thereby reduces inflammation and abdominal pain associated with constipation.

Dosage & Administration:

Adults:

For IBS-C: 01 Gutfix licap twice daily.

For functional constipation of Children (3 to 17 years): 01 Gutfix licap once daily.
